As we know that all the public and private educational institutions are closed due to winter vacations started from December 18, 2023 till January 01, 2024. But now according to latest news, winter vacations has been extended till January 09, 2024.
All educational institutions, including schools and colleges across Punjab, will remain closed for the winter break until January 9th, 2024. Notifications for the holiday period until January 9th have been released by both the School Education Department and the Higher Education Commission Department.
All the educational institutes in Punjab will reopen from January 10th, 2024.Educational institutions that do not comply with the extended winter vacation order will face strict consequences.

In continuation of this department's notification of even No. dated 01.12.2023, winter vacation in all Public and Private Schools in the province of Punjab are hereby extended up to 09.01.2024. Effective from Wednesday, January 10th, 2024, all schools, including both private and public institutions, will reopen and resume their regular weekly activities. It is crucial to adhere to the existing regulations regarding the mandatory use of face masks within the school premises, as these measures are in place to safeguard the health and security of everyone involved.
